Job Title: Independent Reviewer<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa
\nReference #:<\/strong> IR001
\nContract Type:<\/strong> Permanent
\nSalary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nThe Independent Reviewer, is responsible to the Audit partner for daily work contact, conduct of independent review and compilation engagements and for ensuring that the fieldwork is executed within the required time frame.<\/p>\n

Job Description:
\n\u2022 Manages time and is held accountable for productivity
\n\u2022Provides frequent progress updates to the manager or partner
\n\u2022Regular online training is required
\n\u2022Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (preferably) and International Financial Reporting Standards for Small
\nand Medium-sized Entities (required)
\n\u2022Drafting of financial statements using CaseWare
\n\u2022Performance of Compilation engagements
\n\u2022Performance of independent review in terms of the requirements of International Standard on Review Engagements (ISRE) 2400<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nQualifications and experience:<\/strong>
\n\u2022SAICA or SAIPA preferable
\n\u2022Completed 3-year SAICA or SAIPA training contract
\n\u2022Bcom or Honours (Completed)
\n\u2022Independent review experience
\n\u2022Drafting of Financials Statements in terms of IFRS for SME and full IFRS is preferred<\/p>\n

\n\u2022Ability to handle and manage stress
\n\u2022Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
\n\u2022Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
\n\u2022Excellent communication skills
\n\u2022Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder relationship management
\n\u2022Flexible in terms of working hours
\n\u2022Must be able to work on you
\n\u2022Project management skills
\n\u2022Quality and detail oriented
\n\u2022Team player<\/p>\n
