Job Title: Audit Manager<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nThe Audit Manager oversees and ensures that the project runs efficiently and profitably from inception to sign off, by managing all the relevant stakeholders in accordance with the Firm\u2019s policies and procedures. The Audit Manager further supports the Engagement Partner with clients’ commercial management and business development initiatives.<\/p>\n

Reporting to the Audit Partner you will inter alia be responsible for:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Business Development
\n\u2022Negotiating budgets\/fees and overruns for clients once fee base has been agreed with the partner
\n\u2022Managing WIP, write offs, fee queries and debtors
\n\u2022Ensure Timeous and accurate billing of clients
\n\u2022Accurate and Timeous planning of audits.
\n\u2022Management and the Execution of audits.
\n\u2022Managing staff movements on and off the job and timeously communicate to all relevant parties.
\n\u2022Manage and control staff allocations on audit project.
\n\u2022Ensure completion and finalisation of audits
\n\u2022Building of effective relationships with clients and staff.
\n\u2022Ensure Exceptional Client Service.
\n\u2022Decide on audit appropriateness of audit opinion by resolving issues which might impact on the audit opinion and ensuring that these are brought to the attention of the engagement partner and documentation thereof.
\n\u2022Manage the client and ensure that the project is delivered within the scope agreed on
\n\u2022Mentoring of trainees
\n\u2022Timeous completion of performance reviews<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nQualifications and Experience:<\/strong>
\n\u2022CA(SA)
\n\u2022A minimum of 2 years post article management experience with long term audit ambitions \u2013 partner\/director
\n\u2022Listed companies experience will be an advantage.<\/p>\n

Competencies:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Strong Technical Ability
\n\u2022Extremely high level of attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
\n\u2022Ability to communicate effectively – Verbally and Written
\n\u2022Ability to relate to clients at executive level
\n\u2022Ability to apply sound professional judgment.
\n\u2022Demonstrate a commitment to self-development and growth through research and attending courses relevant to role.
\n\u2022Promote teamwork within the Audit Teams
\n\u2022Strong Planning, organising and control skills<\/p>\n
