Job Title: Regional Manager<\/strong>

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nRegional Manger will be accountable for the implementation of strategic work plans and formulation of associated procedures to ensure the effective operational implementation of all Statucor service lines in the region; ensuring that regional targets are achieved<\/p>\n

Main Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nFunctional Management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Consult and manage the Secretarial function, including the provision of support to client Boards and Sub-committees
\n\u2022Consult and assist in client AGM Preparations (Draft Notices, Chairperson’s Script)
\n\u2022Consult and provide advocacy to client Boards, Sub-committee members and Trustees as to their duties, responsibilities, and powers
\n\u2022Ensure that relevant governance issues, either in terms of compliance or non-compliance are brought to the attention of the client Board
\n\u2022Consult and ensure timeous distribution of all the documents required for client Board and Sub-Committee meetings
\n\u2022Consult and draft client Board Charter, Sub-committees\u2019 Terms of reference, and Annual work plans
\n\u2022Consult and facilitate the annual submission of the Declaration of Interest forms by client Board and Sub-Committee Members
\n\u2022Consult and ensure support is provided to clients and communication is managed
\n\u2022Consult and facilitate client Annual Board and sub-committee Evaluation
\n\u2022Manage the Annual Return process for clients based on Standard Operating Procedures
\n\u2022Ensure that the statutory records of the client companies are set-up and accurately maintained and attend to the administrative control of information and documents
\n\u2022Ensure the accurate drafting of Client Engagement Letters based on Standard Operating Procedures
\n\u2022Ensure the accurate capturing of client take-on information and related documents on the CRM system
\n\u2022Consult and provide advocacy on compliance related work for clients<\/p>\n

Operational Management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Drive continuous innovation and optimisation by ensuring the development, alignment and implementation of end-to-end process and systems improvements in line with business requirements in the region
\n\u2022Monitor and enforce the minimum standard requirements for Statucor staff and services as per the Service Level Agreements in the region
\n\u2022Ensure optimal capacity and use of staff to meet objectives and deadlines, through effective delegation and scheduling of activities
\n\u2022Ensure that all queries from clients and staff are addressed and resolved as per the Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements, and\/or refer queries to the relevant stakeholders.
\n\u2022Ensure the compilation and review of branch reports and statistical control metrics, to measure success and inform the business decision-making process
\n\u2022Ensure that filing is done accurately and timeously<\/p>\n

Risk and Compliance Management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Assist in identifying and adhering to fraud controls, risk prevention principles, sound governance and compliance processes, and tools to identify and manage risks
\n\u2022Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit requirements
\n\u2022Maintain and enforce all quality assurance related Service Level Agreements to minimise business risk and ensure business continuity
\n\u2022Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organisation in the Branch<\/p>\n

Financial Management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Review proposals, invoices, credit notes, travel claims and submit for approval
\n\u2022Provide input in the planning and compilation of the Branch\u2019s annual budget aligned to the delivery plans to support the implementation of set objectives
\n\u2022Ensure the effective implementation, management, monitoring of the Branch\u2019s budget where relevant, and mitigate and report on any variances
\n\u2022Ensure the deployment of proper financial controls to manage the sub-divisional budget
\n\u2022Report on and communicate any costs improvements and shortfalls
\n\u2022Attend Debtors Meetings and follow-up on debtors in collaboration with BDO Finance
\n\u2022 Oversee the payments for services rendered by CIPC<\/p>\n

People Management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Drive a working environment that augments employee engagement, recognition, and productivity
\n\u2022Build and lead an effective and cohesive team through the effective management of divisional resources
\n\u2022Lead the implementation of talent acquisition, succession planning, development, and retention strategies for the division
\n\u2022Lead the enhancement of relevant knowledge and skills through continuous coaching, mentoring, and nurturing of divisional talent
\n\u2022Lead and drive a high-performance culture by translating and communicating the annual performance goals and measures based on agreed upon objectives<\/p>\n

Stakeholder Management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service
\n\u2022Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of expectations management, knowledge sharing and integration, and to manage Statucor\u2019s reputation
\n\u2022Represent and participate in the organisation\u2019s committees and tasks teams when required
\n\u2022Convene and attend meetings and present findings and business cases to relevant stakeholders when required
\n\u2022Implement timeous communication on progress and challenges in achieving the tactical work plans to impacted stakeholders<\/p>\n
