\nCrisis and Reputation Management Strategy or plan
\n\u2022Develop and implement media strategies
\n\u2022Create a media crises management plan for the SACAA
\n\u2022Provide communication support to the organisations leaders and members of various events, including media interviews, press releases and build strategy documents
\n\u2022Track and manage the media and press metrics
\n\u2022Draw the right tools and strategies for the implementation of better communication with the audience
\n\u2022Develop communications materials including press releases, fact sheet, website copy, briefing notes for the media.
\n\u2022Facilitate responses to media queries and arrange media briefings
\n\u2022Employ innovation in media communication to heighten the overall objective of raising awareness of the organisations issues, events, and projects.
\n\u2022Provide guidance to ensure coordination and communication of information to both internal and external audiences<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Build relationships with key media contacts and identify opportunities to proactively pitch brand and corporate information.
\n\u2022Construct and strengthen relationships with reporters, producers, podcasts, and other traditional and non-traditional media outlets<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations emanating from the Independent Media Commission Act 148 of 1993<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Be available to analyse and develop a communications plan regarding incidents of critical nature involving the SACAA
\n\u2022Ensure fact checking, analyses and attention to detail<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Monitor mentions of SACAA on public and other media platforms and
\ncreate detailed critical media reports.
\n\u2022Update and maintain all media databases
\n\u2022 Evaluate the effectiveness of media programmes and communicate results to business.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Ensure diligence, responsibility, professionalism and provide team support
\n\u2022Liaise and collaborate with other departments and cross-functional teams to assist in providing creative solutions to managing media related matters.<\/p>\n
