The above mentioned position exists within the Remuneration Department and is responsible for the administration and coordination of the Employment Equity and Broad- Based Black Economic Empowerment activities. The successful incumbent will report to the Senior Remuneration Specialist, and have a branched reporting line to the Manager: Learning and Development.<\/p>\n

\nRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:<\/strong>
\nEmployment Equity:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Assist in ensuring effective EE administration and coordination within the Group.
\n\u2022Monitor budget utilisation and report on the usage thereof.
\n\u2022Assist with preparation and update the EE plan (EE Goals and Targets) as per legislative and business requirements.
\n\u2022Update EE barriers and EE action plans (EEA12 and EEA13) with the committee\u2019s feedback and actively participate in the
\nroll out and progress monitoring thereof.
\n\u2022Provide assistance with statutory, EE related changes and the implementation thereof.
\n\u2022Provide information requested for Department of Labour and Employment (DoL) audits at Head Office and external offices
\nby providing necessary documents and guidance on any findings by following up with the relevant inspector timeously.
\n\u2022Assist to update and maintain the EE policies and plans.
\n\u2022Co-ordinate awareness, education and sensitisation sessions on Employment Equity and Diversity (in consultation with the
\nOrganisational Development division).
\n\u2022Follow-up and monitor the submission of EEA1 of all employees, follow up on any reasonable accommodation that needs to
\nbe recommended for employees with disabilities and ensure that the HRI System is updated.<\/p>\n

Employment Equity Committee:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Responsible for the committee\u2019s secretarial and administrative duties by:
\noScheduling of meetings in line with EE good practice guidelines.
\noSending out meeting agendas and minutes timeously.
\noDrafting of EE meeting minutes.
\noIdentify vacancies in the EE committee structure and assists with the election of committee members.
\noDistribution of related documents to committee members.
\noArrange training for committee members.
\noAny other committee administration functions that should arise.<\/p>\n

HRIS Management :<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Update and maintain the correct EE classifications on the HR information system inclusive of (race, gender, job titles and job
\ngrade, and level of employment).
\n\u2022Prepare monthly statistics from the system and distribute to relevant stakeholders.
\n\u2022Compilation of reports on progress made with the implementation of the approved EE plan, measured against the approved
\ntargets.<\/p>\n

Broad- Based Black Economic Empowerment:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Responsible for the effective administration and coordination of the Group\u2019s BBBEE activities.
\n\u2022Liaise with stakeholders and coordinate the Group\u2019s monthly BBBEE submissions.
\n\u2022Plan, monitor and engage with relevant process champions on their monthly BBBEE reports to ensure timeous submission.
\n\u2022Responsible for the Management Control (EE and Remuneration sections) submission for the Group.
\n\u2022Update the BBBEE tool with relevant information for scenario planning purposes.
\n\u2022Coordinate and collate feedback from all relevant administrators and process champions on queries received from the
\nBBBEE service providers and ensure that relevant feedback is provided.
\n\u2022Coordination of the annual B-BBEE verification audit process.
\n\u2022Compilation of the submission file containing documents as specified for the validation process.
\n\u2022Arrange and coordinate the validation process with all stakeholders to ensure that they are available and prepared.<\/p>\n

Reporting:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Prepare the EEA2 and EEA4 reports and ensure alignment to the HRI System.
\n\u2022Submit approved EEA2 and EEA4 to the Department of Employment and Labour before the published due date.
\n\u2022Prepare and provide monthly BBBEE reports to the Manager L&D and General Manager: HR to identify gaps.
\n\u2022Provide assistance with ad hoc remuneration related tasks and projects
\nRequirements<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022A relevant three-year diploma or degree.<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Minimum of 2-3 years\u2019 related experience.
\n\u2022Exposure to relevant legislation.
\n\u2022Proven experience in EE and BBBEE management
\n\u2022Proven experience in HR related systems.
\n\u2022Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) experience<\/p>\n
