\nThe Data Analyst is responsible for ongoing analysis of Health Care Information, obtained from a variety of Sources. It requires proficiency with Analytical Tools (STAT, SAS and Excel) and a detailed knowledge of Data Analysis methodology<\/p>\n
\nData Monitoring and Analysis:<\/strong>
\nAnalyse and problem-solve issues with Current and Planned Systems as they relate to the integration and management of Data
\nIdentify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex Data Sets
\nIn collaboration with others, interpret Data and develop recommendations based on findings
\nDevelop Graphs, Reports, and Presentations of Project Results
\nPerform basic Statistical Analyses for Projects and Reports
\nCreate and present quality Dashboards
\nGenerate routine and ad hoc Reports
\nLoad electronic data into the Database after performing relevant Quality Checks
\nSupport the Data Management Team in all Data Management functions
\nAdhere to all Data Management SOP\u2019s, Guidelines and Confidentiality Agreements
\nComplete daily Timesheets for reporting purposes
\nGeneral Administration:
\nFiling and management of all queries received electronically
\nCompleting of Timesheets
\nAdheres to all Data Management SOP\u2019s, Guidelines and Confidential Agreements
\nLiaise with Stakeholders:
\nLiaise with all Stakeholders when necessary towards the achievement of Organizational and Departmental Goals.

\nMake appropriate logistical arrangements for Meetings\/Events<\/p>\n
\nEducation:<\/strong>
\nA diploma\/degree in Statistics, Data Analysis, Research Methodology or equivalent
\nExperience:
\nAt least 2-3 years Data Monitoring experience
\nAt least 2 years experience in either the Health Industry or Research Industry
\nDemonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques, preferably with significant experience with PowerBI
\nDemonstrated experience in Analysis and Presentation of Data
\nExperience in Data Mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
\nTechnical expertise regarding Data Models and Database Design Development
\nUnderstanding of XML and SQL
\nUnderstanding of HIV\/Aids and TB
\nAdvantageous:
\nA GCP certificate
\nProgramming skills
\nDemonstrated experience using STATA, SAS, SPSS or other Statistical Packages for analysing large Datasets
\nSignificant experience with PowerBI<\/p>\n
\nComputer literate:<\/strong>
\nModerate overnight travel (up to 20%) by land or air if required
\nDriver\u2019s License
\nOwn Car
\nExcellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package as an End User
