Established in 1997, the station is formatted to mostly play urban music genres such as Kwaito, Hip Hop, and R&amp;B along with a minority of its airtime being dedicated to talk shows.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Trade Marketing Co-ordinator\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> YFM039<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Trade Marketing co-ordinator will be responsible for creating, managing and co-ordinating all trade marketing activities and activities on behalf of the sales team.<\/p>\n<p>1.Support the sales team to ensure there is a brand presence with new and existing clients of YFM.<br \/>\n2.Supporting the sales team with client relationship building initiatives.<br \/>\n3.Highlight possible opportunities that exist in the industry that will create brand awareness.<br \/>\n4.Manage and co-ordinate all trade events and activations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022Assist and support sales in the execution of their trade marketing strategies<br \/>\n\u2022Provide creative ideas and input when needed.<br \/>\n\u2022Assist in ensuring all printed collateral to clients and agencies conform to a standard look and feel and reflect the brand identity of YFM.<br \/>\n\u2022Co-ordinate a trade newsletter.<br \/>\n\u2022Planning and implementation of trade promotional plans, which will drive awareness of brand and increase airtime demand.<br \/>\n\u2022Manage and coordinate the planning and execution of all trade events\/shows including internal sales workshops, incentive events and client functions.<br \/>\n\u2022Mange and implement various events including budgeting, giveaways, accommodation, flights, agenda, invites and running orders.<br \/>\n\u2022Manage trade marketing budgets.<br \/>\n\u2022Managing the trade marketing calendar.<br \/>\n\u2022Complete any other task as instructed by MD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation: Matric and relevant marketing diploma and\/or degree would be preferred.<br \/>\nExperience: A minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in marketing. Preferably from a radio broadcast industry.<br \/>\nLanguage: English<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Professional Competencies:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022Exceptional communication and presentation skill \u2013 both verbal and written.<br \/>\n\u2022Exceptional negotiation skills.<br \/>\n\u2022An understanding of the broadcast sales environment.<br \/>\n\u2022Must be available outside of normal working hours \u2013 this position requires the individual to attend events after hours, weekends and public holidays as and when requested.
