Job Title: Team Lead (Direct Implementation)<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> The Team Leader position will support and deliver on NACOSA\u2019s USAID funded Community-based Violence Prevention and Linkages to Response in SA Programme. This HIV and GBV Prevention Programme focuses on delivering both evidence-based group interventions to adolescent girls and young women and adolescent boys and young men (aged 15-19 and 20-24years). \nNACOSA is looking for a suitably qualified candidates within South Africa to support a Team in the DREAMS programme focusing on the delivery of two group-based interventions namely; IMSAFER and Stepping Stones. The positions will be available immediately<\/p>\n
\nFacilitation of DREAMS Group Based Interventions: Support the Facilitation of Evidence based interventions to relevant target populations. Support and assist coordination of logistics for the smooth implementation of the GBV prevention by the sub-district team.
\nNetworking, Linkages and Referral: Support the Program Officer in Safe Space and stakeholder\/partner mapping, maintenance of a database of stakeholders and their services\/focus areas (DREAMS and non-DREAMS partners), support successful referrals and bi-directional linkages of DREAMS primary and secondary interventions
\nMonitoring and Reporting: Perform 1st line data completeness checks and submit data on behalf of the team; assist Program Officer to collect team output data for the compilation of reports;
\nHR and Administration: Support Team Planning and assist to submit individual team member plans to the program officer on a weekly basis; submit requests for procurement and logistics on behalf of the team; record and track stock\/equipment issued to the team<\/p>\n
\nGrade 12 (Bachelor degree or equivalent in Social Science\/Public Health or related discipline \u2013 advantageous).
\nMinimum of 2 years experience in leading direct implementation teams working in the HIV prevention field in a target driven program. Related work experience in the health and social development sectors, and preferably in the field of AGYW and\/or survivors of sexual violence advantageous.
\nExperience in direct implementation planning, logistical support and basic data collection\/completeness checks is important
\nWell established community\/stakeholder relationship building track record\/ability to network and navigate communities
\nProblem solving skills and ability to think on their feet
\nExcellent communications skills in English, including the ability to guide implementers on implementation
\nAbility to work well in a team environment, person centered; possess leadership skills and qualities and be proactive
\nGood computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience of web-based data systems
\nKnowledge about: HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health; HIV Testing Services; GBV programming; evidence-informed and rights-based programming for survivors of GBV, particularly for adolescent girls and young women.
