The technician (field support) will be responsible for the off-site support function through the testing, diagnosis and repair of notebooks, PC’s, Notebooks & Printers.<\/p>\n

\nResponsibilities:<\/strong>
\nTechnician Service:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Diagnose and repair all technical faults of notebooks, PC’s & Printers.
\n\u2022Follow the correct test process for all brands.
\n\u2022Ensuring that all communication with our customers is of the expected quality.
\n\u2022Completing all assigned tasks within the required time frame.
\n\u2022Enhancing customer experience and relationships.
\n\u2022Keep the CMDB system up to date at all times.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Help maintain the rework rate for the department below 2% within a 30day period between barcodes.
\n\u2022Maintain service levels at 90%.
\n\u2022Complete at least 5 workshop repairs per week depending on the field work schedule.<\/p>\n
\nQualifications and Experience:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Matric
\n\u2022CompTIA A+, N+ and S+ preferred
\n\u2022Valid driver\u2019s license
\n\u2022Min of 3-year technical experience in notebooks, PC repairs & Printers<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Basic computer literacy especially in Microsoft applications skills.
\n\u2022Problem solving skills (analytical).
\n\u2022Good communication skills (verbal and written).
\n\u2022Technical skills and problem analysis.
\n\u2022Good knowledge of general administrative and internal processes.
\n\u2022Knowledge of ICT industry.
\n\u2022Knowledge of operating system software (i.e., Windows 10).
\n\u2022Knowledge of relevant technologies hardware.<\/p>\n
