Job Title: CULTURE & ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Windhoek, Khomas Region, Namibia

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nSTAFF ENGAGEMENT:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Take a lead in driving corporate culture by instilling the company\u2019s mission and vision and corporate values through communication and engagement among the employees,
\n\u2022Collaborate with the Manager to design and drive delivery of engagement events and activities within the company
\n\u2022Organize, implement and coordinate employee surveys, engagement programs and take initiatives to ensure a positive and exciting environment in the company
\n\u2022Gather input and feedback from various stakeholders to assess the viability, interest in, and impact of potential programs
\n\u2022Arrange and coordinate all company engagement interventions such as teambuilding, and Management strategic sessions,and\/ or collaborate with event coordinators and suppliers for collaboration and resources.
\n\u2022Be a trusted partner for employees and management, and play a key role in building solid relationships at all levels
\n\u2022Consult, design, and deliver comprehensive culture and employee engagement workforce solutions.
\n\u2022Perform engagement-related administrative tasks and record keeping of all sessions.
\n\u2022Maintain the Mindset Database for accuracy by ensuring that the structures are updated regularly.
\n\u2022Liaise with managers to ensure they understand their dashboards and track their progress against action plans.
\n\u2022Provide feedback or ratings for managers progress to OD at the end of every performance cycle.
\n\u2022Manage the associated Culture and Engagement budget ensuring activities remain within set parameters
\nCULTURE TRANSFORMATION
\n\u2022Drive a positive working environment and promote the organization\u2019s brand image as employer of choice among the internal employees.
\n\u2022Ensure that Engagement and Culture policies, programs, and services are effectively understood and implemented across the organization.
\n\u2022Conduct or arrange regular awareness workshops on MTC Culture expectations, including induction workshops to all new employees.
\n\u2022Research and benchmark best practice culture transformation efforts and success stories and provide recommendations on improvements
\n\u2022Work closely with other heads of departments to address issues affecting the whole company or specific areas so that improvement areas can be addressed.
\n\u2022Act as Chairperson of the Culture Committee to allowing cross functional input from various departments on improvements to workplace culture.<\/p>\n

CHANGE MANAGEMENT:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Support the project owners to develop change management plans for projects and\/or change initiatives as per best practice methodologies.
\n\u2022Identify potential impacts and anticipating resistance to change from staff as a result of projects or changes within MTC, and
\n\u2022Collaborate with Change Advisory Boards and Internal Communications to support the design, development and delivery of communications affecting staff.
\n\u2022Create materials to support internal communication channels for employee engagement and information sharing<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nMANDATORY PRIOR EXPERIENCE:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a Human Resources or related field 3 \u2013 4 years
\n\u2022Any HR certification in relevant field will be added
\n\u2022Experience in a comparable role, with a solid understanding of employee engagement strategies and change 4 years
\n\u2022Experience in arranging and delivering large scale employee engagement events such as team buildings 4 years
\n\u2022Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams<\/p>\n

COMPETENCIES:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of people.
\n\u2022Strong interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact and must be able to develop working relationships and interact with people at all levels within the Company.
\n\u2022Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision required
\n\u2022Creativity in developing programs and methods for engaging an audience and must be able to approach any project with a creative and unique mindset.
\n\u2022Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
\n\u2022Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret large sets of data
\n\u2022Strong understanding of Change management principles
\n\u2022Must have a passion for people and engaging employees
\n\u2022Valid drivers license<\/p>\n
