To execute MRM logistics management strategy efficiently. The position is responsible for effective planning, arrangement and managing Transportation for outbound logistics of finished goods to maximize customer services at reduced cost. Ensures that all distribution, fleet programs and divisional initiatives are executed as designed by providing leadership and coordination of activities. This includes the direct responsibility for efficient operation of all routes to increase sales and reduce operation costs. Finally, the position will fulfil a central coordinating role between BU departments on their logistic needs, balancing their different priorities and limitations to reach optimal solutions for the company as a whole.<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Plan and organize Vehicles on day to day basis for outbound operation in consultation and effective co-ordination with third party logistic
\nservice providers and Team Lead to ensure that all Orders are fulfilled accurately, error free and speedily.
\n\u2022Manage daily operations of Logistics with a concentration on domestic & export outbound.
\n\u2022Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
\n\u2022Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
\n\u2022An efficient management of Transportation to ensure smooth & timely supply of products across the locations.
\n\u2022Establish and maintain working relationships with outbound domestic carriers.
\n\u2022Liaise with vendors and transportation companies regarding inter- and intra-company shipments and expedite where required in order to
\nprevent delays and extra charges\/demurrage
\n\u2022Liaise with internal\/external customers on loading and delivery of orders following the dispatch plan, including proper documentation for
\nexport shipments
\n\u2022Load and dispatch customer orders following the dispatch plan, in order to achieve maximum On Time In Full deliveries
\n\u2022Review and respond to internal and external service performance and interact with carriers regarding issues.
\n\u2022Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification and performance evaluation.
\n\u2022Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
\n\u2022Manage, motivate, train, and develop Logistics team in order to meet total customer service.
\n\u2022Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
\n\u2022Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
\n\u2022Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
\n\u2022Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\n1. Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain.
\n2. Certified courses in Supply Chain.
\n3. Member of IIMM \/ IFPSM \/ CIPS \/ APICS body.
\n4. Work experience of 3 years in similar role with 4+ years in ERP based Supply Chain
\n5. Preferred industry – Manufacturing, FMCG
\n6. Experience of managing various Transporters and fleet management is preferred.<\/p>\n
