MRM Mariakani is seeking to recruit a professional and experienced individual to fill the position of a Mechanical Supervisor. The position is based at our works in Mariakani<\/p>\n

Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Mariakani, Coast Province, Kenya
\nReference #:<\/strong> MRMCS\/14\/03\/2022\/2
\nContract Type:<\/strong> Permanent
\nSalary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nCoordinating and supervising the work of mechanical fitters on assigned duties.
\nKey Performance Areas:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Prepare work schedules for the purpose of documenting and communicating activities as required.
\n\u2022Direct and supervise Mechanical maintenance fitters on assigned duties
\n\u2022Supervise and manage the execution of routine and preventive maintenance programs
\n\u2022Determine material, equipment\/supplies and reserving of the same for issue from stores.
\n\u2022Compile and submit technical work and breakdown reports as well as maintenance of departmental documents records.
\n\u2022Participate in the diagnosis and repair of major faults and breakdowns.
\n\u2022Ensure observance of safety rules, regulations and practices.
\n\u2022Assign and Control departmental overtime.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nMinimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements :<\/strong>
\n\u2022Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
\n\u2022At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
\n\u2022Knowledge of Auto CAD
\n\u2022Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
\n\u2022Ability to read and interpret machine, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic drawings.
\n\u2022Good knowledge of Hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
\n\u2022Knowledge of ERP SAP PM Module
\n\u2022Planned Maintenance(Time based maintenance, Condition based maintenance, Corrective Maintenance)
\n\u2022Autonomous Maintenance & Good knowledge of Continuous improvement projects.
\n\u2022Total productive maintenance knowledge
\n\u2022Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
\n\u2022Proficiency in MS Office.
\n\u2022Fluency in oral and written English and Kiswahili languages.<\/p>\n
