\nPerforms forensic data analysis and data mining to identify patterns of suspicious activity, outliers, anomalies and other issues that represent fraud risk
\nDevelops, adjusts, and \/or maintains fraud detection models to prevent losses on real time on-line transactions, oversee the implementation process and design reports to validate the model periodically
\nDevelops operational metrics and benchmarking through reporting and trending
\nMonitors industry trends in any fraud related areas, including new fraud pattern, service, detection tool and any new technology
\nDetects, defines, and deters fraud and greater fraud schemes
\nMonitors operations for security and service quality, ensuring fraud products are delivered within established security guidelines and quality standards
\nEnsures fraud detection methods offered comply with financial industry security regulations and consumer privacy laws as they relate to the Company’s operations
\nPerforms networking with other companies in the card-not-present payment environment to establish and leverage sound business practices
\nPerforms ad-hoc investigative and statistical analytics to facilitate risk investigations and external stakeholders on their investigation of risk events
\nExplores, validates, and maintains data used for model development and results reporting related to Sales, Field Operations, Enterprise Risk Management or any ad hoc reporting needs of the company.
\nConducts quantitative research projects by identifying the business problem, conducting data exploration, modelling analysis and communication of final results to Enterprise Risk Management leadership and other interested parties.
\nWorks with business partners during model development to understand all aspects of the business, from understanding business issues\/ priorities to analytically solving these business issues\/ priorities.
\nDevelops and implements scorecards\/data driven predictive models covering different areas of the company including Enterprise Risk Management, Marketing, Sales and Field Operations, among others, monitoring business trends, assessing patterns and bringing issues to the attention of the appropriate functional groups.
\nRequirements
\nEducation\u2022A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance\/Banking\/Economics\/Accounting or other equivalent financial qualification.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Good knowledge of Asset and Sales Financing products and operations
\n\u2022Knowledge of credit policies and standards and lending and lending policies and procedures.
\n\u2022Must be able to understand financial data (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, Financial Ratios, etc.) and apply those skills as they pertain to the loan underwriting process.<\/p>\n
