{"id":72229,"date":"2022-03-30T08:40:41","date_gmt":"2022-03-30T06:40:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=72229"},"modified":"2022-03-30T18:40:15","modified_gmt":"2022-03-30T16:40:15","slug":"aurum-group-recent-job-recruitment-apply-now-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/aurum-group-recent-job-recruitment-apply-now-11.html","title":{"rendered":"Aurum Group Recent Job Recruitment &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Aurum Institute is offering a great opportunity to suitably qualified and experienced staff to contribute towards our mission to improve the health of people and communities through preventive research in communicable diseases.<br \/>\nCurrently we are focused on vaccine researching, supporting and implementing integrated approaches to managing COVID-19, RSV, Gonorrhoea Infections and HIV.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Research Nurse &#8211; Tembisa<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Tembisa, Gauteng, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> RN\/CRD\/ TM<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Research Nurse provides professional research nursing service to study participants &amp; to meet study nursing requirements<\/p>\n<p><strong>YOUR DUTIES WILL BE TO:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Provide Clinical Services:<\/strong><br \/>\nConduct of abbreviated medical history during follow-up<br \/>\nPhysical examination of participants, including pap smears, pelvic, genital and rectal examinations<br \/>\nDrawing of blood and collection of mucosal specimens<br \/>\nConduct and provision of contraception\/counselling<br \/>\nMonitor vital signs and ongoing pre-existing conditions<br \/>\nManage participants as per protocol<br \/>\nReferral of participants to clinicians for further investigations<br \/>\nFollow-up of adverse events and concomitant medication in conjunction with the research clinician<br \/>\nParticipant management:<br \/>\nScreening of volunteers and potential study participants from target populations<br \/>\nObtain and accurately document informed consent from volunteers if needed<br \/>\nAdministration of behavioural questionnaires<br \/>\nComplete case report and data collection forms<br \/>\nPerform daily quality checks and data corrections<br \/>\nContinuous monitoring of trail participants to ensure timeous reports on safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>YOU SHOULD HAVE:<\/strong><br \/>\nQualification \/ Professional Membership<br \/>\nDegree\/Diploma in Nursing<br \/>\nDiploma in Primary Health Care \/Community Nursing<br \/>\nRegistration with South African Nursing Council as a professional nurse<br \/>\nResearch and GCP certificate an advantage<br \/>\nKnowledge &amp; understanding of treatment, care &amp; management of HIV and STIs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><br \/>\nAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in HIV\/AIDS and STI\u2019s<br \/>\nExperience in MS office package<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attributes:<\/strong><br \/>\nIntegrity<br \/>\nInnovation<br \/>\nExcellence<br \/>\nResults Driven<br \/>\nTeamwork<br \/>\nEthical<br \/>\nConfidentiality<br \/>\nEmpathy<br \/>\nDeadline oriented<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure<br \/>\nAttention to detail<br \/>\nProactive<\/p>\n<p>These appointments are subject to the preferred candidates obtaining the necessary security clearance, reference checking and competency assessment.
