\nThis position is available in Milpark College. The Amended Senior Certificate (also called the Adult Matric) allow students over the age of 21 to complete their matric qualification. The ideal candidate for this position must have teaching experience at Grade 11 and 12 level, in Business Studies and\/or Economics.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Tutor students online in the specific subject.
\n\u2022Be available to answer tutor queries.
\n\u2022Assess students\u2019 progress throughout tutoring sessions.
\n\u2022Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students.
\n\u2022Communicate students\u2019 progress to students on Milpark\u2019s online learning platform.
\n\u2022Participate in training development sessions to improve tutoring practices, learn the online Learning Management System (Moodle) or learn
\nnew tutoring techniques.
\n\u2022Identify, develop, or implement intervention strategies and tutoring plans.
\n\u2022Develop training materials, like hand-outs, revision activities, or quizzes.
\n\u2022Prepare and facilitate tutoring workshops or academic support sessions for small groups of students where needed.
\n\u2022Assess formative assignment and provide online feedback to students.<\/p>\n
