Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:<\/strong>
\nMonitor Clerks and Snr Clerks
\nAllocate work XI96 Pay@ report and XR 960 to Snr\u2019s
\nUpload Plapse report on IWS for Jnr\u2019s
\nDo Checking of work processed
\nCR request\u2019s
\nManager leave and sick leave<\/p>\n

Provide training and assistance to subordinates
\n\u2022Subordinates should be monitored on a regular basis to determine any training needs.
\n\u2022Non-Performance of clerks should be attended to and brought under the attention of the Department Head.
\n\u2022Assistance with queries and problems must be provided.
\n\u2022Check and follow up on correspondence older than 3 days.
\n\u2022Regular spot-checks must be done on the completed work by subordinates to ensure that the set standard w.r.t the quality of work is up holded.
\nHandling of telephonic and written queries form the Ombudsman.
\n\u2022Policy holders, Hello Peter, Life Offices and Complaints department.
\n\u2022People should be kept updated on the progress of the queries.
\n\u2022Clerks should handle queries in a profession manner.
\n\u2022FO 100 \u2013 Spot check key functions and remove the said users.
\n\u2022Identify and address system errors and improvements (CR Requests).
\n\u2022XR 480 \u2013 monitor non lapse codes.
\n\u2022Monitor the scheduling of program as stipulated on the ICT schedule.
\n\u2022Attend to the transactions on the 1st Provisional Lapse Run Report.
\n\u2022XR 960 Report of Debit order and ACB.
\n\u2022Attend to the XR 280 Not inforce policies with balances.
\n\u2022Provisional & Final lapses work sheet under v\/drive.
\n\u2022XR 650 Stop Order 1st premiums received late.
\n\u2022Maintain effective personnel administration and render training and support.
\n\u2022Assist with the Performance Appraisal of Subordinates.
\n\u2022Compile weekly\/monthly stats report of the post \/ correspondence that was worked on throughout the month.
\nMaintain a high standard of communication across all levels and departments internally and externally.
\n\u2022Promote the image of the department in a professional manner.
\n\u2022Set the example w.r.t professional client service.
\n\u2022Address issues of poor client service displayed by personnel.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Grade 12.<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:<\/strong>
\n\u20222 \u2013 3 Years\u2019 relevant experience (Long Term Insurance will be an advantage).<\/p>\n

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Good communication skills.
\n\u2022Computer literate (MS Office\/ MS Excel)
\n\u2022Good interpersonal skills.
\n\u2022Be accurate and figure oriented (compile reconciliations)
\n\u2022Be client friendly and service oriented.<\/p>\n
