Job Title: Shipping and Costing Administrator<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nThe purpose of a Shipping and Costing Administrator is to process and control international shipments. Analyse the data used for costing determinations and financial reports with the aim of keeping costs down and revenues up.<\/p>\n

\u2022Work in conjunction with the Warehouse, Purchasing, Finance departments and Forwarding Agents.
\n\u2022Daily monitoring and updating of shipment tracker.
\n\u2022Proper data maintenance: suppliers, system and shipment files.
\n\u2022Accurately and timeously booking stock into the SAP system.
\n\u2022Ensure that cost of goods balance back to the supplier invoices and costings.
\n\u2022Balance shipment files at month end and hand them over to finance and payment.
\n\u2022Liaise with Forwarding Agent for all shipments, documentations, ETAs and delivery schedules.
\n\u2022All queries from suppliers to be resolved within a required time frame.
\n\u2022Processing of short supplied, damages and Return for Credit.
\n\u2022Resolve issues or queries in shipment of goods within the required time frame and ensure that feedback is given to the relevant people timeously.
\n\u2022Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
\n\u2022Ability to handle difficult situations with a strong focus on problem solving and customer service.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Matric or equivalent.
\n\u2022Completed a degree or diploma in Purchasing or Logistics.
\n\u2022Knowledge and experience of basic bookkeeping, creditors function and SAP system is advantageous.
\n\u20223 years within a purchasing and logistics environment in a similar role.
\n\u2022Strong numerical and analytical skills.
\n\u2022Detail oriented.
\n\u2022Advanced Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
\n\u2022Must be able to work overtime if and when required (during month ends and stocktake).
\n\u2022Clear disciplinary record.
\n\u2022Clear credit and criminal history.<\/p>\n
