\nThe Senior IT Auditor is responsible to the IT Audit Manager for carrying out the work allocated to them, for keeping the IT Audit Manager informed of progress and of any problems or difficulties with that work and for ensuring that work is documented and concluded in accordance with the Firms policies and procedures. Keeping accurate time records and performs work allocated with integrity & ethics.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Performs those sections of the Audit as agreed with the Senior \/ Manager\/Director
\n\u2022Responsible for the security of the audit files and working papers and ensure they are safely stored.
\n\u2022Ensures audit working papers are clear, concise and explain all issues clearly
\n\u2022Ensures sufficient, adequate, reliable, relevant and useful evidence is placed on file to facilitate effective review
\n\u2022Ensures that all work papers are complete, consistent, referenced and signed off, and the correct templates have been used
\n\u2022Gives feedback to managers at audit debriefs or when required to do so, escalates problems to managers promptly
\n\u2022Builds and manages client relationships effectively
\n\u2022Assists with training junior staff
\n\u2022Completes performance reviews with Junior staff<\/p>\n
\nQualifications:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Grade 12
\n\u2022B.Com Accounting, Informatics, Computer Science or relevant degree
\n\u2022CISA
\n\u2022ISSP, CGEIT or equivalent (advantageous)<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Minimum of 3 years working experience of IT Auditing<\/p>\n
\n\u2022ITIL, COBIT, IDEA, ACL, CYBER equivalent
\n\u2022Qlickview, Pentana, Nessus or equivalent (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Ability to understand business processes.
\n\u2022Ability to translate business requests to analytic procedures.
\n\u2022Good understanding or accounting and audit processes.
\n\u2022Intermediate accounting knowledge<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Good communication skills
