Job Title: Data Quality Officer<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Conduct thorough and extensive data verification of all data, including detailed checking of reported data against source documents, to ensure all data captured is accurate and valid Requirements:<\/strong>

\nNACOSA is looking for a suitably qualified individual for the position of Data Quality Officer. The successful incumbent will support the efficient and effective functioning of NACOSA\u2019s USAID funded Gender Based Violence programme by providing a high-quality of data validation and support the monitoring & evaluation function.<\/p>\n
\nWrite reports and provide feedback on data quality issues detected
\nClean the raw data where needed in accordance with good data management practices
\nWork closely with the programmatic team, by implementing systems to improve data quality
\nReview data on CBIMS and Google Consolidation Tool to identify and address any missing data, inconsistencies, discrepancies, or errors
\nAssist sub awardee M&E teams to assess and improve data quality
\nPerform basic data analysis with the view to provide recommendations on improvement of data quality measures and controls
\nAttend regular M&E workshops, relevant staff enrichment training sessions, meetings and training courses as required
\nVisit sites to verify data on a, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.<\/p>\n
\nA Matric certificate
\nTertiary qualification in a related field will be highly advantageous
\nMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in a similar position
\nAdvanced computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
\nExperience in data management software will be an advantage
\nAbility to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, high stress environment
\nExceptional attention to detail
\nProcess driven with the ability to perform duties in structured environment
\nAbility to act with integrity and honesty in the performance of all functions
\nResults-oriented, professional, accountable and proactive
\nDemonstrated ability to drive high quality data management processes
\nValid South African driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
