\nKey Accountabilities:<\/strong>
\nSKILLS\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n\u2022Maintenance of General Ledger including preparation of journals.
\n\u2022Maintenance of Trade & Other Payables, and Trade & Other Receivables, and other balance sheet accounts, including preparation of journals.
\n\u2022Maintenance of Fixed Asset register, including preparation of journals.
\n\u2022Preparation of components\/inputs for interim and annual group reporting pack for review by Management Accountant\/ Finance Manager.
\n\u2022Preparation of annual departmental budgets and quarterly forecasts for review by Management Accountant\/ Finance Manager.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Update of payroll file and supporting documentation inputs for monthly submission.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Implementation of procuring to pay management practices.
\n\u2022Contribute to compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
\n\u2022Input into B-BBEE compliance schedules and supporting documentation maintenance.
\n\u2022Input to submissions to ICASA, SAMRO, SAMPRA, BRC and other similar industry\/compliance bodies.<\/p>\n
\nQualifications and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n\u2022Min of 3 years of finance-related work experience and 1 year of general ledger accounting experience.
\n\u2022Strong technical accounting background and numerical ability.
\n\u2022Computer literate and excellent writing and communication skills.
\n\u2022Ability to handle change and work well under pressure.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Goal\/task prioritization.
\n\u2022Positive outlook, can-do attitude.
\n\u2022Strong track record as a \u201cteam player.
