\n\u2022Manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable ledger, accounts receivable ledger, and cash books, ensuring accurate and timeous accounting.
\n\u2022Manage monthly closing of financial records.
\n\u2022Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and business review presentations, including detailed commentary on significant variances to budget and prior year, and operational highlights.
\n\u2022Preparation and review of quarterly reports to the board of directors.
\n\u2022Preparation and review of quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
\n\u2022Preparation & review of Annual and Interim Financial Reporting as well as the Annual Financial Statements in accordance ith International Financial Reporting Standards.
\n\u2022Manage procurement policy compliance and the entire procure-to-pay process.
\n\u2022Manage treasury function including payments and collections, ensuring maximum cash return, as well as maintaining banking relationships.
\n\u2022Manage inter-company transactions and balances, and the reporting thereof.
\n\u2022Manage fixed asset register and capital expenditure, monitoring spending for adherence to approved budget.
\n\u2022Review and update of payroll file and supporting documentation for monthly submission to Payroll.
\n\u2022Management of trade exchange contracts and the accounting thereof.
\n\u2022Management of corporate credit cards, petty cash and company fleet.
\n\u2022Management of finance polocies, and the internal control environment including internal financial control processes.
\n\u2022Manage external and internal audit processes as well as other agreed upon procedures, within budget.
\n\u2022Advocate for sound corporate governance in accordance to best practices.
\n\u2022Implementation and monitoring of financial policies and internal controls.
\n\u2022Providing input into the organisation\u2019s strategy setting, implementation and monitoring.
\n\u2022Scoping and analysis of key strategic projects.
\n\u2022Business support in daily operations and projects, addressing financial aspects to meet business needs.
\n\u2022Management of key suppliers\/contracts to ensure delivery of rights and obligations.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Update of payroll file and supporting documentation inputs for monthly submission.
\n\u2022Manage the identification, assessment, and management of risk across the organization, keeping a regularly updated strategic risk register.
\n\u2022Manage BBBEE and financial compliance procedures. Manage and coordinate Procurement, Supplier & Enterprise Development & SED components of the BBBEE scorecard.
\n\u2022Manage compliance requirements with ICASA around license conditions and relevant reporting requirements.
\n\u2022Ensure reporting compliance and timeous payment of levies to SAMRO and SAMPRA
\n\u2022Manage compliance with the Tax legislation, including preparation and filing of VAT, PAYE, Income Tax and Dividend tax requirements.
\n\u2022Ensure that all regulatory and legislative matters are attended to.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Lead finance team. Encourage a healthy work culture and positive work ethic in the department.
\n\u2022Manage and measure the performance of team members, providing regular feedback.
\n\u2022Manage the development of individuals as well as succession planning of the various roles within the team.
\n\u2022Delegate projects to team members to ensure the best possible spread of workload, with a sufficient amount of empowerment and coaching.
\n\u2022Provide support, and encouragement and administer disciplinary action when necessary.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Interface with management in various departments in setting, implementing, and measuring organizational strategy.
\n\u2022Member of Management Committee (\u201cManco\u201d), including attendance of weekly Manco meetings.
\n\u2022Assists with Ad Hoc projects where required.
\n\u2022Execute any other tasks that may reasonably be expected.
\n\u2022Effectively manage all relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n
