Salary: R20 500 per month plus provident fund and car allowance.<\/p>\n
A well-established market leader in the car rental sector based in Isando requires a team player who is action orientated, deadline driven and customer focused. You will be responsible for world-class pricing support to revenue management team. The incumbent must have strong mathematical, statistical and forecasting expertise, a relevant Degree qualification that includes Mathematics and Statistics is essential , an Economics and Management Account Qualification will also be benefit.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate must have:
\n\u2022 Matric Qualification
\n\u2022 Tertiary Qualification that includes Mathematics and Statistics
\n\u2022 Economics and Management Account Qualification
\n\u2022 Advanced level of Excel, Minitab and MS SQL
\n\u2022 Intermediate level of Wizard back office literacy<\/p>\n
Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
\nIn-house Pricing and supplementary rates
\n\u2022 Evaluate current non-contracted default pricing and ensure rate shops in place on a monthly basis
\n\u2022 Recalculate\/analyse pricing, vehicle group and product relationships offered to maintain competitiveness and ability to yield
\n\u2022 Evaluate implication and demand for new products and set-up programmes in In-house Rates Loading
\n\u2022 Ensure that default rates are correct and applicable in the Wizard system for all Length of Rentals and seasons
\nAdditional revenue
\n\u2022 Identify additional revenue opportunities for local & weekend segment by liaising with relevant managers
\n\u2022 Conduct analysis on identified opportunities and present to Manager
\n\u2022 Implement proposal upon approval
\n\u2022 Evaluate revenue generated from proposal and make adjustments as required
\nSpecial Projects
\n\u2022 Action project plan as per steps identified
\n\u2022 Provide feedback on progress to Manager
\n\u2022 Implement project as per deadline
\n\u2022 Maintain special projects database and record key learning\u2019s
\nRelationship Building
\n\u2022 Develop and maintain effective relationships with segment managers
\nPrice modelling
\n\u2022 Evaluate current models by car group as required
\n\u2022 Gain pricing information on car models
\n\u2022 Develop pricing model per car model
\n\u2022 Calculate minimum rate per day charge by length of rental
\n\u2022 Document and distribute information to relevant segment managers
\nMeetings
\n\u2022 Conduct pricing review meeting monthly as per scheduled date
\n\u2022 Attend Redline team meeting monthly<\/p>\n
Knowledge
\n\u2022 Comprehensive Mathematical and Statistical expertise
\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of rate structures, rate code functionality and rental counter function
\n\u2022 Thorough understanding to the rates Database Department function
\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of the contribution model
\n\u2022 Understanding of Project Management<\/p>\n
Skills
\n\u2022 Advanced level of Excel, Minitab and MS SQL
\n\u2022 Intermediate level of Wizard back office literacy
\n\u2022 Use contribution model to determine contribution for different variables
\n\u2022 Able to analyse information, question the norm and make proposals
\n\u2022 Able to work independently
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
\n\u2022 Able to source information and conduct competitor analysis
\n\u2022 Build mathematical pricing models
