\nAs the Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:<\/strong>
\nAchieving sales targets for front- and backlist titles
\nUnderstanding OUP\u2019s position in the market
\nEstablishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
\nCalling on schools, district education officials, key booksellers and libraries to generate sales
\nConducting product presentations and facilitating workshops for educators.<\/p>\n
\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:<\/strong>
\nA national diploma or equivalent in Education, Marketing or Sales
\nExtensive sales experience
\nA thorough understanding of the South African school curriculum
\nIn-depth knowledge of the education and book trade market
\nRelationship building skills
\nStrong negotiation and communication skills
\nPlanning and organizing skills
\nReport writing skills
\nAbility to operate within a team
\nComputer literate with MS Office, PowerPoint and Word
\nValid driver\u2019s license and own reliable vehicle essential<\/p>\n
