A solid and well respected brand in the mining services area is looking to attract key talents to add to its existing pool of highly sought after professionals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: General Worker<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Aggeneys, Northern Cape, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> General Worker<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Temporary<br \/>\n3 Months<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nTo ensure that all planned operational targets for deposition of tailings are met as per contractual obligation in time and good quality. Also ensure that there is good housekeeping and maintenance of tailings dam .<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022Work with Team leader \/ Supervisor to achieve planned operational targets.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Perform Inspections on designated area of responsibility every day.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Planning and managing of tailings material on site and at depositing areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Follow work instructions given by the Superior for any specific task in line with operational requirements .<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assist with the problems solving on operational challenges and, report any deviations to the immediate Supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Adhering to discipline procedures in accordance with the Company\u2019s Policies and Procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure good housekeeping at all times and good team work .<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Adhere to all Safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislation and company procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Extension and connecting of pipelines .<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Opening and closing of valves in line with operational lines.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Toolbox talks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>QUALIFICATIONS :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Grade 12 &#8211; Matric \/ or equivalent<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tailings Dam Operation background \/ experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous<\/p>\n<p>SKILLS, QUALITIES and ABILITIES REQUIRED :<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Good communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Ability to read and write in English ,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Self discipline ,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Good leadership skills,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Ability to work under pressure and good team work values .<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022Medically Fit<\/p>\n<p>\u2022May be required to work overtime from time to time<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FCandidate%2FFullRegistration%3FJobKey%3Dcfab18baf3574e788375fadcda23398b%26isApplication%3D1&amp;ReturnUrlWithProfile=%2FJob%2FIndex%2F59964%3FAutoApply%3DTrue\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>10\/05\/2022<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Founded in 1912, Fraser Alexander has grown from humble beginnings to become a key player in the South African mining industry and in selected global locations.
