AA\/EE Group Organisational Development Manager<\/p>\n

The employer is a large and successful listed holding group in the Automotive (Car Rental , Fleet Services, Logistics, Motor Retail Sector) and seeking a highly professional, seasoned and passionate Group Organisational Development Manager. The incumbent must be able to liaise at Executive level with various companies within the group.<\/p>\n

The key responsibility will be to develop and implement programs that align the workforce with key business initiatives.<\/p>\n

The primary task is to facilitate the implementation of organisational effectiveness by devising simple, clear, practical tools that drive organisational performance.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate must have:
\n\u2022 Honours Degree in Business Management \/ Industrial Psychology
\n\u2022 Masters Degree \u2013 Highly advantageous \/ Preferable
\n\u2022 3 \u2013 5 Years of Management level experience in Organisational Development
\n\u2022 Minimum 3 years experience in Change Management implementations
\n\u2022 In depth knowledge or Performance Management systems \/ processes
\n\u2022 Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;<\/p>\n

Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
\n\u2022 Provide innovative thinking and tools that will assist line management to best manage their human resources;
\n\u2022 Simplify theoretical principles into practical, easy to manage performance enhancing interventions;
\n\u2022 Provide coaching to executives and line managers on organisational development and growth;
\n\u2022 Provide leadership in developing and promoting a learning organisation focussed on its people, the organisational culture and continuous improvement;
\n\u2022 Review existing organisational performance systems and practices to ensure alignment between Vision and Plan through to individual performance management outcomes;
\n\u2022 Advise management boards and HR executives on how best to utilise organisational development best practice to drive performance and embrace a learning organisation culture;
\n\u2022 Clearly communicate the organisation\u2019s Business Philosophy, Vision and Values;
\n\u2022 Develop and provide benchmarks for individual high performance across the various Business Units;
\n\u2022 Be the Change Agent providing support and mechanisms necessary to implement OD Projects;
\n\u2022 Design tools and processes that will drive the use of:
\no Job Models
\no Balanced Scorecards
\no Individual Performance Plans
\no Job Grading and validation
\no Intellectual Capital Reviews
\no Continuous performance evaluation against set scorecard targets
\n\u2022 Ensuring the organisation is structured and has the capabilities required to deliver the agreed business goals;
\n\u2022 Participate in the analysis of the Human Resources aspects of the company\u2019s Ethics and Compliance program being rolled out;
\n\u2022 Participate in identifying the gaps between the Desired Status and Current Status of the Human Resources aspects of the Ethics and Compliance program requirements;
\n\u2022 Design and implement in conjunction with the business unit\u2019s HR Executives the interventions necessary to bridge the gaps identified in the Human Resources elements of the Ethics and Compliance program;
\n\u2022 Manage the roll out of the agreed Employee Value Proposition across all business units in the Division in conjunction with the HR Executives;
\n\u2022 Ensure alignment between the Employee Value Proposition, Business Vision and Business Units strategic plans;
\n\u2022 Design and implement practical, easy to understand and measure aspects of Employee Productivity.
\n\u2022 Ability to conceptualise strategies and concepts and translate these to simple easy to internalise actions;
\n\u2022 Systems thinking and familiarity with integration;
\n\u2022 Ability to interpret complex requirements into simple, practical, easy to implement and maintain solutions;
\n\u2022 Able to effectively and constructively reduce resistance to change;
\n\u2022 Planning and organisational capabilities, including innovation and creativity;
\n\u2022 Knowledge of project management, change management and process planning;
\n\u2022 Good understanding of human behaviour as well as the constraints and demands of business operations;
\n\u2022 Ability to build professional relationships;
\n\u2022 Ability to deal effectively with resistance;
\n\u2022 Ability to clearly define and clarify objectives;
\n\u2022 Ability to link change effort with organisational process;
\n\u2022 Must be able to integrate operational requirements with OD best practice;
\n\u2022 Continuously drive and maintain the momentum of all interventions across the various Business Units;
\n\u2022 Able to facilitate participative decision-making processes;
\n\u2022 Able to co-create an implementable plan that is simple, clear, measurable and results-oriented;
\n\u2022 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees;
\n\u2022 Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardisation exists;
\n\u2022 Must be very aware of timing of various activities \u2013 organisational readiness;
\n\u2022 Able to drive and focus on activities that generate the highest impact for the lowest cost.<\/p>\n
