Technica Specilaist will be responsible for software design, planning, development and integration for Africa Data Centres IT software platforms. Accountable for analysing the software development trends in order to develop leading edge Africa Data Centre IT platforms and to select suitable technologies and vendors. Working within the ADC IT team designing, implementing, and testing new functionality and performance enhancements to ADC system services and web portals (both customer and internal operations portals). Required to have technical experience across several software development languages and platforms (front end and server side), and experience of business areas relevant to ADC and the wider Cassava Technologies group.<\/p>\n

\nResponsible for leading enterprise technology solutions, by identifying and analysing the execution of change toward desired business vision and outcomes. Required to design an IT applications and technology roadmap to meet current and future business requirements for all IT domains according to industry best practices.<\/p>\n

\nAnalyse project requirements to design data schemas, models, APIs and architecture of server-side applications and services

\nSupervise integration of existing ADC systems with new customer portals, and API integrations of any future software platforms that ADC will deploy
\nWork with external OEM and vendors to develop and integrate software platforms, Ensure all designs to tested and, where required, POCs are initiated to test and develop new software platforms.
\nDevelop Application and Infrastructure Architecture to support the business
\nEnsure UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface) of portals follow the UX and UI themes of other ADC portals and possible integration of portals into Cassava Technologies portal structures.
\nDesign portals with integration into Office365 stack and applications in Microsoft Azure platforms.
\nParticipate overall\/conceptual system designs and implementation strategies to use for more detailed design and evaluating long term implications of design choices.
\nAssist and support the IT Architecture that is defined for ADC and give input on any possible product enhancement or new solutions.
\nEnsuring system infrastructures are in line with IT policies on security, robustness, resilience and backup schedules<\/p>\n
\nQualification:<\/strong>
\nIT Software Development qualifications
\nBusiness Management diploma \/ degree
\nTOGAF and ITIL
\nExperience<\/p>\n
\nMinimim 4-6 years experience of industry security encryption standards such as SSL, HTTPS, and certificate chains. Also use of tools and frameworks and such as OpenSSL and LetsEncrypt.
\nMinimim 4-6 y ears experience of industry authentication protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML, and Single Sign On identity management mechanisms.
\nMinimim 2-3 years experience with API integrations.
\nMinimim 2-3 years experience in dealing with network and connectivity issues and providing root cause analysis on the issues
\nMinimim 2-3 years experience of delivering and operating Azure based solutions and integrations into the Office 365 product stack.
\nMinimim 2-3 experience of designing and implementing Web Portals, taking into consideration UX factors such as UI look and feel, Navigation, and Simple and Effective presentation of data to the users.<\/p>\n
