\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nProfile Data using standard and complex rules to identify potential data issues and the need for data standards.
\nEnsure the quality, completeness, and accuracy of data definitions.
\nUse data quality software where available to interrogate data sets.
\nDesign data quality monitors to meet project data migration needs.
\nPerform detailed analysis in order to identify trends and patterns in data.
\nAnalyse findings and present summarized results to project teams.
\nDocument business rules for data migration.
\nDesign and develop the data migration strategy for Oracle CMS.
\nLead team to plan and execute data migration requirements.
\nWhere applicable, investigate and qualify potential areas in which to retain, introduce or replace existing artifacts.
\nSupport and promote data principles, policies, and standards.
\nPerform root cause analysis on data anomalies and work with data stewards to resolve issues.
\nDemonstrate a thorough understanding of Data Management, Data Migration and
\nETL Design principles, Patterns, and best practices.
\nHands on experience with Oracle related technologies.
\nWorking experience with SQL, Presto, Cloud ERA and Hadoop.
\nDemonstrate understanding of Data Models, Deployment Models, and challenges.
\nCollaborate with technology team members, end users, and other stakeholders in the rollout of the CMS Data programme.
\nWork diligently to enhance or improve business processes to improve the data load times and increase reliability of data.
\nBe the custodian of the data layer for SA and work closely with Data department.
\nGovernance Team to form a design and deployment perspective.
\nGauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement technical designs for improving or further leveraging of these systems.
\nCommunicate data quality related problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, and end users<\/p>\n
\nBSC or Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience is required.
\nOracle certification – (Highly Advantageous)
\nHadoop Certification – (Highly Advantageous)<\/p>\n
\n7+ years consistent work experience covering similar functions in multinational
\ntelecommunication with global project rollout experience.
\nHave experience of leading large scale data migration projects.
\nDemonstrate the ability to effectively establish and maintain strategic working relationship with peers and constitutes at all levels of the organization.
\nDemonstrate analysis, technical and problem-solving skills using critical and innovate thinking.
\nAbility to work collaboratively with a Project team and relevant stakeholders.
\nUnderstanding of Data Integration methodologies.
\nWorking technical experience with Oracle Products and direct hands-on experience with migration projects \/programme related to Oracle Products
\nExposure to and understanding of Oracle Cloud technology is a plus.
