\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nRequirements:<\/strong>
\nGrade 12.
\nDegree or Diploma in IT with relevant IT certifications.
\nCompTIA Network+ or CCNA is advantageous.
\nMinimum 3 – 5 years\u2019 experience in IT Analyst or Administration field.
\nWorking knowledge of Wintel desktop systems; Windows 10, Office 2016 and Office 365, and EUC.
\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft server and services such as Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
\nWorking knowledge of MS Azure, Azure Active Directory is advantageous.
\nWorking knowledge of Cisco firewall\/switches, Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 and HyperV will be added advantage.
\nAny type of development and programming an advantage.
\nCMD, powershell or VB scripting is advantageous.
\nProactive troubleshooting skills.
\nImpeccable verbal and written communication skills.
\nWell organised.
\nVery good time and priority management skills.
\nDuties and responsibilities:
\nEnsure all systems are operational, adequately monitored and maintained:
\nProvide day to day end-user support
\nTroubleshoot any ad hoc IT issues
\nMonitor, manage and actively patch servers and workstations.
\nPeriodically review server logs for potential problems.
\nPatch workstation clients and applications regularly.
\nAdhere to IT framework and policies in accordance to Group standard.
\nManage and monitor fax, print and copier services and facilitate daily operations.
\nSupport internal stakeholders and manage third party vendors:
\nUnderstand the business functions and improve IT processes.
\nConduct staff training when necessary
\nSupport users on in-house developed and deployed applications
\nParticipate and manage project rollouts
\nManage external vendors, monitoring SLA
\nEnsure outsourced services are in-line with Service Level Agreement.
\nPerform IT reviews and assessment of procedures and controls:
\nCreate and maintain documentation on IT manuals and procedures.
\nImplement and manage new processes
\nPrepare regular and ad hoc systems reports
\nEnsure efficiency in responding to and fixing user problems:
\nGeneral desktop support: Printing setups. Office and Application support
\nCreating users, resetting passwords, access levels, file interface validation, etc.) across all clients.
\nRemotely manage South African office IT operations and support end-users
\nManage telecommunication (ISP, fixed line and mobile) services and track data roaming usage
\nFacilities: manage third party office maintenance.
