\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nA vacancy exists for a Financial Manager who is also a qualified CA (SA).
\nThe successful candidate is a motivated self-starter who is responsible for the financial function of the Hospital and the management of a small finance team.<\/p>\n
\nDevelop and manage the preparation of budgets and monthly financial report and provide feedback thereon to the Board of Directors and Exco team.
\nPerform Return on Investment calculations on new projects.
\nManage the Operational and Capex budget of the Hospital.
\nResponsible for preparing annual financial statements and managing the annual audit process.
\nPerform annual Opco and Propco valuations.
\nEnsure Companies Act and King Code compliance as Company Secretary.
\nManage resolutions and minutes of Board meetings.
\nMonitor, manage and improve the asset register.
\nEnsure that proper financial controls are in place and identify and improve on any weaknesses.
\nBuild relationships and liaise with various stakeholders including specialists, medical aids and suppliers to help to achieve business goals.
\nResponsible for the IT function and digitalization strategy of the Hospital
\nResponsible for the telecommunications function of the hospital.
\nEnsure deadline compliance for VAT and Tax purposes.
\nReview monthly creditors and ensure timeous payments.
\nEnsure timeous collection of outstanding monies, including revenue and rental income.
\nReview all Service Level Agreements and contracts for the hospital and ensure proper recordkeeping of the aforementioned.<\/p>\n
