\nA leading engineering and manufacturing company in South Africa\/Africa dealing with infrastructural products and belonging to a reputable market leader requires an Industrial Engineer who has practical experience in the Industrial Engineering field in a production environment and has good administrative skills and very good communication and interpersonal skills
\nThe successful candidate must have:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Matric Qualification.
\n\u2022 An Industrial Engineering qualification
\n\u2022 4 Years relevant experience in a Production environment essential
\n\u2022 Practical experience in Industrial Engineering field in a production environment
\n\u2022 Computer Literate (Databases and Microsoft Suite)
\n\u2022 Financial Management
\n\u2022 Production Management
\n\u2022 Maintenance Management
\nYour busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Managing and controlling the medium tern capacity plan for the company
\n\u2022 Managing and controlling manufacturing standards
\n\u2022 Monitoring key parameters for the business on a continuous basis
\n\u2022 Effective management of the Business Systems supporting the business units
\n\u2022 Managing and supporting JDE, the Capacity Planning system, On-Key and Clockworks to support the business units in the execution of the business plan
\n\u2022 Optimisation of business processes
\n\u2022 Management and implementation of improvement projects
\n\u2022 Effective management of the Industrial Engineering functions within the business to improve operational excellence \u2013 productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness
\n\u2022 Responsible for supply chain optimization to enhance business value
\n\u2022 Implementation of Lean Principles into the business
\n\u2022 Proactively implementing effective business, team and individual performance management across the department
\n\u2022 Effectively implement a \u201cZero Harm\u201d safety strategy across the department
\n\u2022 Ensuring full compliance to all safety legislations, policies and guidelines<\/p>\n
