Job Title: Systems Engineer Manager – Woodmead<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Oversee all connectivity between sites and ensure uptime Oversee all custom systems that they are working to the way they were designed Ensure staff are trained on the helpdesk policies and procedures Desired Experience & Qualification:<\/strong> Diploma or Degree in IT administration, MCSE, ITIL, etc.<\/p>\n 5+ years in a senior\/similar position<\/p>\n 2-3 years in supporting customer-built systems.<\/p>\n Pastel Evolution<\/p>\n Windows 2012, 2019 and 2022+ server<\/p>\n Knowledge of Socket connections and web services<\/p>\n SOAP UI experience to use to test systems<\/p>\n SQL 2012 and 2019+ Server and SQL replication<\/p>\n Data warehousing and transactional flows of data in systems<\/p>\n Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Experience<\/p>\n Working with IIS and Certificates for websites<\/p>\n Virtual Server Experience, Azure or AWS experience a bonus<\/p>\n Knowledge of all forms of internet connectivity<\/p>\n Firewall Knowledge of rules and IPSEC<\/p>\n IT Security knowledge and design practices in security network and systems<\/p>\n Mobile phone knowledge and inner workings of the operating systems features<\/p>\n Knowledge of IT best practices for change control, implementations etc.<\/p>\n

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nIT System infrastructure support<\/p>\n
\nOversee all IT hardware, including the outsourced hardware
\nOversee all virtual server setups and server maintenance
\nOversee all server setups to support the custom systems
\nOversee all Cloud PABX services
\nOversee all Office 365 services
\nOversee all SQL services and data warehousing
\nCustom Systems support<\/p>\n
\nAssist with systems design with the development departments
\nOversee all testing of the custom systems to ensure they work according to design spec or release notes
\nOversee the transactions through SQL to ensure 100% accuracy in the platforms
\nHelp with troubleshooting database and system issues and report any to the development department. Ability to read log files and error codes
\nCustom systems management
\nEnsure all systems are documented and working to the designs
\nEnsure the support team are trained and knows how to support the systems
\nEnsure a rotational support structure is in place for after-hours support for system systems or maintenance
\nHelpdesk management<\/p>\n
\nEnsure all support issues are logged on the helpdesk
\nEnsure all SLAs to customers are adhered to
\nEnsure the company has proper redundancy for supporting the solutions
\nEnsure the company follows all ISO policies and procedures and ensure all policy and procedures are understood by all staff and reviewed yearly<\/p>\n
