\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nTo provide strategic guidance for and oversee management of all Cell C\u2019s product lines for Consumer Products, Customer Retention, Innovation and Business Intelligence and to create and deliver positive customer lifetime values through agreed product lifecycle management and customer experiences.<\/p>\n
\nProduct strategy
\nLead and support product managers in creating long-term competitive strategy and roadmaps for their product lines with the aim of maximizing customer lifetime value and updating this long-term view yearly in preparation of the budgeting rounds.
\nOwn, review and refresh the product portfolio on a regular basis, ensuring that it is constantly aligned with Cell C\u2019s strategic and business plan objectives.
\nProduct planning
\nEnsure that product managers are adequately engaged in identifying new product opportunities, product changes and enhancements and where necessary eliminating products (features)
\nEnsure that product managers create and maintain a product plan and forecast, which is updated every quarter.
\nProduct performance management
\nManage regular tracking and reporting of product performance across all product lines to ensure that product managers are optimising customer lifetime value by reducing churn, increasing revenue, improving margins and increasing sales volumes.
\nDeliver product performance improvement by collaborating closely across the organization and in particular with the other marketing teams, sales, customer operations, service delivery and strategy.
\nCost and Budget Management
\nPrepare the budget within area of control.
\nManage the approved budget for area.
\nPrepare cost tracking and variation reports.
\nMake recommendations for budget-affecting change requests.
\nInform Management timeously of potential over-spend
\nHealth and Safety Compliance
\nStrictly apply and adhere to Cell C Health and Safety procedures and rules.
\nManage conformance to Legislation and Cell C Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
\nManage, identify and minimize Cell C\u2019s exposure to operational risk.
\nMonitor, investigate and report all health and safety matters and incidents.
\nRecruit employees; assign and direct work, oversee their development, identify training needs and maintain staff competence.
\nStaff Management
\nEstablish and evaluate Key Performance Indicators.
\nProvide an advisory and support function.
\nInitiate the appropriate Labour Relation action required within section.
\nUphold HR policies and procedures.
\nConduct performance appraisals.
\nPerform any related duties as requested by Management.<\/p>\n
