\nEnsure technology is accessible and equipped with updated hardware and software and Implements provision of network access to all staff following IT procedures
\n\u2022 Configure and Install PABX Telephones, create user accounts, pins and install physical telephones
\n\u2022 Configure Network Switches appropriately in relation to subcontractors and different network platforms and liaises with appropriate internet service providers as per direction and instruction from line supervisor
\n\u2022 Maintain IT network inventory and stores and issue reports periodically
\n\u2022 Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate and makes recommendations on the purchasing of IT resources
\n\u2022 Assist users with hardware and software problems via phone, email or physically and supports Subcontractors in IT related matters i.e. (e-mail, telephones internet and VLAN network Links)
\n\u2022 Maintain a log and\/or list of required repairs and maintenance
\n\u2022 Troubleshoot delegated IT issues and completes daily checks on hotspots, servers, mobile network, internet, e-mails, faxes, telephones, printers, radio antennae and communication switches and hubs
\n\u2022 Monitor security of IT systems and supports Backbone Network Links to Surveillance Networks
\n\u2022 Support backbone and in-house connection of television to residences and configures and installs all equipment to ensure that required channels are always up and running
\n\u2022 Communicate and report network connection and system failures with appropriate service providers
\n\u2022 Comply with HSE policies<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 CCNA; MCSE; Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering Degree or Diploma
\n\u2022 Light Motor Vehicle Driver\u2019s Licence
\n\u2022 2 years relevant experience in IT networks support environment
\n\u2022 Sound knowledge and understanding of the work methods and techniques applied in the execution of IT-related outputs
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of UTP cable and CISCO switches and Microsoft servers and wireless communication<\/p>\n
