\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nOnsite User Support
\nMicrosoft Windows & Office Application Support and Installation
\nWindows Server Management & Administration
\nMicrosoft Office 365 2nd Line Support & Administration
\nEscalation of issues to 2nd
\nDocumentation and Updating of Ticketing\/Helpdesk System
\nTrain end users on usage of computer hardware and software
\nInstall, configure and support Windows and Mac workstations
\nMaintain current and accurate inventory of hardware, software and resources
\nEnsures compliance with software licensing agreements
\nPerform long-term fault, configuration, performance and security management of Desktops systems
\nInstall, configure, and support end-user IT hardware and software within acceptable response times
\nManage users on systems (reset passwords, create new accounts etc)
\nIntroduce new IT capabilities by introducing opportunities for improvement and propose viable solutions
\nContinues improvement – Reviews key processes to identify gaps between customer requirements and current outputs and to identify key variances.
\nAchieve a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeping abreast of current developments and trends in area of expertise.
\nMonitoring – Determines which systems; processes, or areas need to be monitored; identifies what information needs to be obtained.<\/p>\n
\nTechnical Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n– CompTIA Network +
\n– Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (or working towards it)
\n– Previous experience with Microsoft Office 365
\n– Proficient with Microsoft Windows 8.1\/Windows 10
\n– Windows Server Administration – Active Directory, Data Security, Group Policies etc.
\n– Installation and troubleshooting of Applications
\n– Proficient at Printer, installation and configuration
\n– Wireless & Network Infrastructure support and configuration
\n– Previous experience in Firewalls and a understanding of switching, routing and VLAN’s<\/p>\n
\n– Self-Management & Self-Motivations – a “Go Getter”
\n– Strong Documentation Skills and Information Gathering
\n– Excellent communication skill, both in front of the client and via telephone
\n– Creative problem solving ability
\n– Proven ability to troubleshoot under pressure
\n– “Can Do” attitude
\n– A distinct hunger to grow as an individual<\/p>\n
\nMinimum A+ N+ qualification
\nMCSE would be advantageous
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience with IT desktop support and Server support knowledge
\nThe successful candidate should be able to operate at a corporate level and be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions
\nDriver\u2019s License and own transport<\/p>\n
