Senior Business Development \/ Marketing Consultant Position
\nBased in Sandton CBD – Gauteng
\nMy client, a Leading Law firm based in the Sandton CBD seeks an individual with high work standards, strong business acumen and who has a passion for business development. Experience in the Professional Services\/Corporate\/Investment Banking sector will be an advantage.
\nThe successful candidate must have:
\n\u2022 BComm \/ LLB \/ Business Development Qualification \/ Marketing Degree \/ IMM
\n\u2022 Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in business development, client management and marketing
\n\u2022 Experience within a professional services, corporate environment preferably private, corporate or investment banking
\n\u2022 Passion for business development
\n\u2022 Proven track record of driving and managing a business development or client relationship management function
\n\u2022 Project management experience
\n\u2022 Entirely proficient in Microsoft Office<\/p>\n
Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
\n\u2022 Reporting to the Marketing Director, the position requires the following:
\n\u2022 Ability to research, plan, write, and execute the overall business development strategy for practice areas
\n\u2022 Embark on Business Development activities to grow existing business, cross-selling and bring in new clients
\n\u2022 Interpret information gathered to identify opportunities and trends
\n\u2022 Keep abreast of business developments
\n\u2022 Plan, organise and manage marketing activities with the view to increasing client loyalty
\n\u2022 Ensure that the brand and the brand strategy are implemented and controlled
\n\u2022 Completion of tenders and new business pitches
\n\u2022 Extract information from the Marketing database to establish, maintain and enhance client relationships
\n\u2022 Client liaison and relationship building in conjunction with the respective Partners
\n\u2022 Assist teams with completion of directory entries, the writing of brochures etc.
\n\u2022 Provide market information to both internal and external clients if and when needed
\n\u2022 Manage existing client relationship processes and develop new client relationship processes
\n\u2022 Set goals for business growth and implement plans to achieve them
\n\u2022 Monitor progress of new business development
\n\u2022 Project manage initiatives and manage internal relationships and participation in the projects to achieve the objectives
\n\u2022 Provide support to internal relationship teams
\n\u2022 Perform additional duties and assignments as may be required<\/p>\n
