Job Title: New Business Development – Corporate IT Training<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Requirements:<\/strong> Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level Skills and Experience:<\/strong>

\nIdentifying and closing new business opportunities in the Corporate IT Training Market, which involve one or a combination of the following elements of the People Solutions offering: Business Strategies and Metrics, People Strategies, Processes and Systems, Training and Development Strategies, Training Delivery.
\nBuilding and managing an individual pipeline of new business opportunities in a manner that will lead to the consistent achievement of monthly sales targets.
\nReporting required management information regarding individual pipelines in an accurate and timely manner. Staying abreast of changes to the ‘Peoples Solutions’ offering to the market as well as relevant developments in the industry.
\nCombining a solid understanding of the customer\u2019s IT environment with in-depth product knowledge and industry awareness to offer corporate customers an integrated IT Training Solutions.
\nIdentifying a sufficient number of new business opportunities to build an individual pipeline that will lead to the achievement of monthly sales targets
\nPlanning an approach to these customers that addresses their business requirements
\nBuilding a database of relevant information on these customers
\nMaking contact with a sufficient number of these customers to build an individual pipeline that will lead to the achievement of monthly sales targets
\nGetting appointments with a sufficient number of these customers to build an individual pipeline that will lead to the achievement of monthly sales target
\nQualifying the new business opportunities that result from these initial steps in the sales process
\nPursuing these genuine business opportunities
\nComplete the sales process with the customers
\nUnderstanding the business drivers around the customer\u2019s IT training requirements
\nCreating a differentiated value proposition that addresses these business drivers
\nConfirming the value proposition with the customers
\nPresenting the value proposition to the customers
\nClosing the deal with the customers
\nTurning these customers into existing customers with whom we do repeat business
\nGrowing the revenue stream from these customers
\nBuilding broader relationships with these customers
\nOwning these customers<\/p>\n
\nEducational Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\nSales training
\nTertiary business qualification will be advantageous
\nSound understanding of Learning Technology<\/p>\n
\nAt least two years\u2019 experience in a Business Development or Sales Executive role, accompanied by a proven track record of achievement against individual sales target.
\nBusiness Development\/Sales experience in the IT training Industry or broader IT industry will be preferable
\nA solid understanding of the business drivers that influence customer decisions in the Corporate IT Training Market
\nProfessional presentation skills
\nProfessional proposal writing skills Excellent computing skills are essential
\nStrong MS Office and Excel and Word experience essential
\nStrong numerical ability \/ financial acumen
\nStrong consulting ability
\nBusiness Understanding
\nExceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and conflict resolution skills
\nWell versed in the English language (speak, read & write) and ability to clearly communicate at all levels
\nProficiency with necessary Learning Solutions technology, including computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.
\nAbility to guide other team members in identifying trends and establishing related goals
\nAbility and willingness to identify opportunities and facilitating knowledge sharing amongst teams
\nStrong performance management experience
\nAbility to build strong relationships with key product owners \u2013 both internal and external
\nAbility to deal with complex customer queries and concerns
