\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nManaging a team & team efficiency.
\nInstalling solar panel arrays in residential and commercial settings, including on roofs, walls, and ground mounts.
\nConnecting electrical components such as inverters, batteries, and charge controllers to ensure that they operate properly.
\nInstalling wiring and other electrical components in new construction projects, including commercial buildings, and residential homes.
\nMeeting with clients to discuss project goals and requirements.
\nInstalling photovoltaic (PV) systems in residential and commercial settings, including roof top systems and standalone systems.
\nInstalling electrical wiring and equipment, such as transformers and switchgear, to support solar power systems.
\nInstalling and maintaining solar power generation equipment, such as photovoltaic panels.
\nInstalling batteries, battery boxes, and other battery components for solar power systems.
\nInstalling wiring for solar energy systems in homes and businesses, including mounting solar panels, wiring panels to the main electrical box, connecting batteries or other energy storage devices to the system.
\nAdministrative duties.
\nComputer literate.
\nDesired Experience & Qualification
\nElectrician trade test qualification
\nCompleted NQF levels N1, N2 and N3 for Electrical Engineering
\nObtained a Wireman’s license to issue electrical compliance certificates (ECOC)
\nPassed SANS 10142-1 National Exam
\nRegistered with the department of labour (DoL)
\nValid driver\u2019s license and own reliable vehicle
\nQualified electrical and solar technician
\nSolar Photovoltaic Installation experience (minimum 2 years)
\nExperienced in managing teams<\/p>\n
