Job Title: IT Technician<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Other cloud-based technologies Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong>
\nLocation: <\/strong>Umhlanga<\/p>\n
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nComprehensive knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems
\nExperience troubleshooting and setting up mobile devices, especially those on the Android and iOS platforms
\nWindows Server and SBS operating systems
\nMicrosoft Office 365 and Azure experience
\nMicrosoft Office application suite
\nAdvanced networking \u2013 routers, access points, switches & firewalls
\nVPN and WAN setup\/support
\nMicrosoft Exchange Server
\nAdvantageous Skills:<\/p>\n
\nAdvanced networking \u2013 Firewalls (Mikrotik, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet)
\nLinux operating systems
\nMCSE or equivalent
\nVMware & Hyper-V
\nkey responsibilities
\nBe accountable for effecting remote and onsite IT support to all internal and external stakeholders in the recording and resolution of all IT support tickets logged and\/or calls taken
\nProvide technical support in terms of hardware, software, systems and administration
\nEnsure expected service levels and response times are adhered to
\nFollow the company processes to effectively escalate matters with effective resolutions
\nMaintain constant communication with end users, engineers, partners and third-party service providers on all matters that require technical support
\nProvide after-hours support on rotation with the team<\/p>\n
\nGrade 12 Senior Certificate
\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 working experience as an IT support technician and directly supporting end-users, both face-to-face and remotely
\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience troubleshooting and upgrading desktop\/workstation and server hardware
\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience installing, maintaining and supporting corporate network environments (LAN & WAN)
\nExperience having worked with a helpdesk ticketing system such as OTRS, Zendesk & osTicket, Heat, Remedy, etc.
