\nAs an Avaya Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the information technology (IT) support of our business. You will provide IT technical support to all teams within the organisation and ensure that they have access to their devices and data wherever they are in the world. You’ll be able to build strong relationships with colleagues from other departments in order to share knowledge or solve problems as a team. You should also be comfortable working under pressure, as your work may involve managing multiple projects at once.<\/p>\n
\nDemonstrates problem analysis techniques and is creative and innovative when handling workstation problems.
\nGathers relevant information from the customer, other users, documentation, and communications systems.
\nCoordinates with peers and additional resources for incident analysis, resolution, and management.
\nProvides direct client support to resolve computer issues.
\nAt least 4 years\u2019 experience in ICT.
\nCommunication and IT Infrastructure Line of Business:
\nBasic understanding of the integration of telecommunications and computer equipment.
\nLimited experience supporting or implementing data &\/or voice solutions.
\nBasic understanding of relevant operating systems; LAN\/WAN networks; and database.
\nBasic understanding of telecommunication protocols and systems.
\nDiagnostic skills in hardware and software products.
\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.
\nSelf-disciplined with good time management skills.
\nFault analysis \/ troubleshooting skills; be able to read & interpret technical documentation.
\nStrong focus on customer satisfaction.
\nCustomer focus with good attention to detail.
\nHave initiative and be a team player.
\nFully competent on the use of Microsoft Office.
\nDrivers licence and own transport.<\/p>\n
