\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nResponsible for strategic development of medium to long term trade marketing plans, and identifying new promotional opportunities
\nOversees local teams in the execution of strategic trade marketing plans
\nResponsible for improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellent point of sale planning, execution and tracking in line with annual marketing priorities
\nCollaborates with product managers and marketing team to build sales promotions and product communication.
\nCollaborates with sales teams to turn the \u201cselling stories\u201d into sales tools to effectively present the brands, the products and the marketing initiatives to their customers.
\nCollaborates with marketing intelligence resource to read and report results of activities and to provide recommendations and forecasts.
\nEnsures that the local customer feedback is taken into account by regularly visiting sales teams, customers and stores.<\/p>\n
\nDevelops best practices and toolkits for implementation by the local marketing teams
\nEnsures efficient spending of trade marketing budgets in the respective countries
\nConceptualizing and executing trade promotions and roll out of impactful campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales
\nSupports local teams in the execution of the activities and in achieving their sales and budget objectives, while ensuring the desired product benefits and brand values\/equity are properly communicated.
\nManages the point of sales material (including budget, logistics, distribution, assortment) by finding the most efficient solutions.<\/p>\n
\nInternal: Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Business Officer, Country MDs
\nExternal: Agencies, Suppliers, Public Media\/Press
\nIndirect reports: Country marketing teams
\nDesired Experience & Qualification
\nExperience & Qualifications Required<\/p>\n
\nProficiency in both written and spoken English is a must.
\nExperience within an international or modernized company is required.
\nPrior Sales experience or background is highly recommended.
\nA bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing or equivalent
\nPostgraduate degree would be an advantage.<\/p>\n
\nKnowledge of marketing and trade marketing activities, tools and techniques in a multinational IT and Telecommunications organisation.
\nExperience with category management.
\nKnowledge of trade channels African markets (mass market and traditional trade) is highly.
\nCapability in building strategic, multilevel and teamwork relationship.
\nAbility to deal with complexity in a multinational environment.
\nDemonstrating an energetic, organized and business-driven approach.
\nHaving a strong sense of engagement with structure and strong communication skills.<\/p>\n
\nR2 200 000 Per Annum (Negotiable according to experience and qualifications)<\/p>\n
