\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nResponsibilities:<\/strong>
\nProvide input into the strategic direction for the product portfolio, including a defined product roadmap
\nAct as the business owner for their products and services, which may be under development, in use or undergoing extension or redevelopment
\nBe responsible for business and product feasibility in relation to business modeling and costing models
\nNegotiation with internal departments to launch new products and to enhance existing products
\nConduct monthly and ad-hoc competitor reviews
\nGo-to-Market and co-ordination for product rollouts and pricing changes, enhancements, and promotions
\nPro-actively propose review and propose new opportunities, pricing changes or responses to market changes
\nAdapt products across multiple channels, for their consumers, corporates, and resellers
\nCommercial negotiations with potential partners and vendors
\nMaintain and manage relationships with various suppliers
\nBe the knowledge expert on the core product detail and processes
\nLiaison with legal and compliance functions to ensure compliance of products and services
\nDocument and define product business rules
\nManagement of the associate product manager in execution of product changes, support, and product launches
\nRequirements:
\nDegree or diploma in a commercial or technical field. (BCom, Engineering or Computer Science) would be advantageous
\nKnowledge of ISP industry
\nExperience in a sales and marketing environment
\nProficient in MS Word and MS PowerPoint, and an advanced competency in MS Excel
\nProven competence in all areas of Product Life-Cycle Management
\nMinimum of 6 years\u2019 experience in a product management, ISP or telecommunications industry.
\nExperience with presentations to senior management and external stakeholders
