Job Title: SALES MANAGER FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS – CAPE TOWN TELECOMMUNICATIONS SECTOR<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> HIGH-LEVEL JOB OBJECTIVES No Job Objectives (Maximum 8) \u2022 Work with the (A)VP of Sales, RSD’s and Finance to refine go-to-market models and sales methodology, including identifying and solving pain points within the organization and sales process<\/p>\n \u2022 Proactively identify issues and solutions to improve the efficiency of the sales force<\/p>\n \u2022 Participate in weekly, quarterly and annual sales planning by preparing and supporting the delivery of specific sales coverage and forecasting analytics<\/p>\n \u2022 Lead efforts to standardize processes and systems (e.g. Salesforce.com) to enable accurate and efficient data collection and management of the company\u2019s sales efforts \u2022 Own communication to the field and maintain calendar of communications from a global to subregion standpoint as well as sales process adoption \u2022 Work closely with other Sales Operations Managers to share knowledge, best practices and facilitate standardization across the whole sales organization<\/p>\n

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nPURPOSE OF THE JOB
\nProvide data and analytical support to manage and improve Confluent’s sales processes and cycle, as well as utilizing pipeline data to help report, analyse and forecast the company’s current quarter’s business.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Be responsible for accurate forecasting and pipeline analytics as well as reporting and analysis of sales results (including system dashboards)<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Partner with the Sales leaders to facilitate our global sales territory planning, by creating and allocating territories as the sales team grows<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Manage all daily ad hoc requests from all business units (Finance, Compensation, AE\u2019s, Data Science, etc.)<\/p>\n
