\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nKey Performance Areas:
\nProviding the sales team (internal\/external) with the necessary technical expertise to enable sales and sales processing.
\nEffectively manage the OSP team members, providing direction and guidance, monitor and evaluate.
\nReview product pricing, forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at warehouses including liaison with production (locally and globally) to ensure supply timelines.
\nProviding specialist support, guidance, monitoring and evaluation of Installations and Maintenance Services.
\nReview of system stock levels, report on items \u2265 120days.
\nProvide product awareness training sessions (Employees, Clients, Contracts and Sub-contractors)
\nBuilding relationships with all stakeholders.
\nMaintaining ISO standards:
\nEnsuring that Suppliers conform to ISO standards.
\nMake product diagrams\/specifications and any specific product requirements available to all stakeholders.
\nOversee product non-conformances and taking the appropriate action where required.
\nMonitoring and Evaluation of Suppliers.
\nEnsure Suppliers Compliance to BBBEE legislation & Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
\nAssist with marketing and branding material for products.
\nCo-ordination of sales and market approach, provide sales strategy inputs.
\nEvaluation of price competitiveness.
\nContinuous analysis of the market segment and drive business development.
\nIdentifying new opportunities, strategy development, evaluation and review.
\nEnsure the profitable sales of the product and the management of the life cycle thereof.
\nCommunicating new products and product changes.
\nProvide and generate information for successful Tender \/ Bids \/ RFQs \/ RFIs \/ RFPs and Vendor applications.
\nMonitoring and Evaluation of Suppliers contractual obligations in terms of Quality, lead-times, EOL, DOA etc
\nEnsure that Supplier Contracts are updated (Renew\/ Cancel.
\nOversee matters around non-conformance in a timely manner.
\nAdhere to all company policies, procedures, regulatory standards and statutory requirements.<\/p>\n
\nRequirements:<\/strong>
\nMatric
\nDiploma\/ Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications
\nA minimum of 5 years Telecommunications Product knowledge and experience.
\nMust be an expert in the field of OSP Products.
\nFibre Network design. (Bill of material and services)
\nProduct pricing with international shipping component, pre-inspections, tariffs, duties etc.
\nExcellent computer skills and proficient in MS Office, Visio, Accpac experience
\nThorough understanding of the operating environment (Telecommunications-ICT, Imports\/Exports) and principles of competitive advantage
\nThorough knowledge, experience and understanding of the Telecommunications Industry
\nSound knowledge and understanding of the principles of product life cycle, financial structures, accounting procedures and purchasing processes.
\nLong working hours.
\nRequired to attend meetings, functions\/events.
\nNational and International travel required
\nCode 8 drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
\nValid Passport.
