As an IT Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the management of any projects or initiatives within a company. This role will include all aspects of project management from initiating and managing projects to closing them down after they have been completed. You will also be involved in planning new initiatives, both short-term and long-term.<\/p>\n

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nIdentify project inter dependencies and determine the optimal approach to
\ndeliver on the project
\nTrack project deliverables using appropriate tools
\nConstantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
\nDevelop full scale project plans
\nProvide direction and support to project team
\nProject evaluations and assessment of outcomes
\nManage projects team to deliver on the project objectives
\nEnsure that business cases, functional specifications and relevant test cases are
\nprepared and signed off by key stakeholders (where applicable)
\nFacilitated projects scoping sessions to assist technical team to translating
\nbusiness requirements into functional end solutions (where applicable)
\nIdentify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
\nTrack and Deliver projects within agreed objectives, standards, budget and timelines
\nDesired Experience & Qualification
\nMinimum of 6-8 experience in large complex projects
\nSolid direct knowledge and experience of project management methodologies
\nExperience of managing activity across the hole of a project lifecycle inclusive of benefits tracking
\nMedia\/Telecoms\/Finance industry project management experience preferred
\nRest of Africa hands on project experience will be advantageous
\nExposure to governance control and risk management
\nProven ability to effectively work across teams at all levels
\nGood financial business case skills
\n3rd Party Vendor Management preferred<\/p>\n
