\nLocation: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n
\nOur Client invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the 2022 Graduate Internship Programme. The Graduate Internship Programme will provide successful interns the opportunity to gain practical work experience for a period of 24 months.<\/p>\n
\nA Degree or BTech in Information Systems or an IT related Diploma (NQF 6 or higher).
\nYou are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape.
\nYou are between the ages of 20 and 35.
\nOn the Job Key Training Areas<\/p>\n
\nTechnical systems architecture design and configurations.
\nPrepare technical documentation and specifications.
\nInstallation, configuration, and maintenance of server and hypervisor operating systems.
\nNetwork installation, configuration, and continuous monitoring.
\nDiagnosis of network issues, monitoring switches, routers and Network cards.
\nOnsite, O365 and remote desktop support.
\nPrinter configuration and support.
\nPABX system support and maintenance.
\nGeneral hardware and software support.
\nBackup software installation and maintenance.
\nAnti-Virus software installation, updating, and monitoring.
\nAttend technical meetings with the customer.
\nUpdate and maintain the site records \/ support logs via the helpdesk system.
\nTravel to customer location to perform any of the above.
\nITIL process adoption.
\nGeneral technical problem solving.<\/p>\n
\nTo take responsibility for self-development.
\nActively pursue certifications.<\/p>\n
\nGood communication (written and verbal) skills.
\nProven computer literacy.
\nAbility to operate office equipment.
\nPlanning and organizing skills.
\nUnderstanding of desktop and server operating systems will be advantageous.
\nDesired Experience & Qualification
\nA Degree or BTech in Information Systems or an IT related Diploma (NQF 6 or higher).
\nYou are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape.
\nYou are between the ages of 20 and 35.
