\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nTo maintain the repository of information (Policies, Procedures, Registers) related to Technology Governance (TG) risk, audit and governance, review compliance and ensure proper tracking and effective communication methods are used to allow the Cell C leadership to optimize risk and governance management.
\nIt aims to ensure that IT continually meets any regulatory, statutory, and legal obligations, support the organization’s objectives while working within the defined ethical and cultural framework and follows the Technology Governance Framework.<\/p>\n
\nMaintain the overall IT Risk register with regards to:
\nKey initiative and projects,
\nBusiness as usual.
\nMitigate business risk by constantly monitoring and identifying areas of risk
\nEnsure the mapping of risks and controls according to the extent of Impact and probability.
\nKeep a weekly tracking dashboard for senior management consumption of all key IT Governance registers as above.
\nTogether with the Risk department, ensure that overall company risk and governance is correctly reported and managed<\/p>\n
\nMaintain a widely accessible repository of all Technology Security Policies and procedures.
\nEnsure that all policies are communicated appropriately and easily accessible by the relevant working teams.
\nReview the policies on a regular basis to determine if additional policies or changes are required.
\nTogether with Internal Audit, review compliance to policies and review necessary updates\/changes
\nConduct regular reviews of security incidents\/logs, access rights tables, user account activities, data backups etc.
\nEnsure that external service providers comply with the organisations information security policies, procedures and standards,<\/p>\n
\nWork with the Senior Process Analyst to maintain a repository of all cross departmental and vendor processes with agreed governance mechanisms incorporated.
\nEnsure that proper governance frameworks, standards, policies and procedures are defined, communicated and compliance is reviewed.
\nProvide IT management with ongoing updates to the risk and corresponding Plans and Governance adherence within IT
\nMaintain overall IT risk register, mitigation plans, auditing and compliance
\nSupport the Corporate Governance Team in preparing, reviewing and finalizing corporate governance documentation and processes.
\nEnsure an effective and efficient filing system is in place for all corporate governance documentation
\nPerform due diligence processes with all business partners and customers within the company
\nCoordinate corporate governance communications and correspondence effectively<\/p>\n
\nFacilitating audit assessments, reporting on the outcome and ensuring open findings are tracked and controls are put in place by required deadline to ensure compliance
\nKeep a record of all internal Audits undertaken within IT to ensure that plans and actions identified within the audits are constructively undertaken<\/p>\n
