\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nKey Performance Areas:<\/strong>
\nPlan and budget for all aspects of IT operations including cybersecurity, auditing, hardware, software, upgrades, disaster recovery, telephony systems, data providers and electrical supply continuity to critical infrastructure.
\nLead efforts to improve IT processes.
\nDevelop and manage high level information Security and ICT Business Continuity solutions.
\nEstablish service and staffing levels.
\nEnsure that the IT user’s computer equipment and IT infrastructure\/network perform at required levels
\nConstantly train users on new systems or software applications
\nProvide support to users
\nProvide 2nd level network support
\nGive access to employees
\nPerform backups and recoveries when needed
\nManaging software licenses
\nManaging service providers
\nAnalysing and assessing annual budgets IT related
\nDeveloping system improvements
\nAnalyse any problems and provide IT solutions
\nEvaluating system performance
\nData Protection
\nTo maintain\/repair hardware
\nAllocate new\/used equipment
\nAdhere to standards and procedures
\nManage updates and upgrades
\nDocument problems and improvements
\nFirst level Networking support
\nTo investigate\/resolve user queries<\/p>\n
\nQualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nIT Diploma or equivalent degree
\nMS-Office (intermediate on all packages)
\nOffice 365
\nERP System experience
\nMore than 3years of proven experience, systems concepts, and methodologies.
\nSolid computer hardware, software and networking experience across Windows servers, SQL Server databases & Syspro
\nExperience in VPN’s, cloud and online web services, remote software management, firewalls, and general IT security.
\nOverseeing and implementing cybersecurity and data governance.
\nPrinting systems and large-scale printers and the management thereof.
\nA diverse network encompassing local and remote hardware and software, virtualization, and some light use of MacOS
\nA complex mix of network switches wired and wireless routers, UPS\/generators and the maintenance and testing thereof in a medium sized business.<\/p>\n
