Job Title: PROJECT MANAGER – Software Development \/ IT<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> This includes determining the required resources, engaging with the relevant stakeholders to acquire the Desired Experience & Qualification:<\/strong> Relevant tertiary qualification, with a Project management certification. SKILLS REQUIRED:<\/strong>

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nPRIMARY FUNCTION OF JOB:
\nThe core function of the Project Manager is to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.
\nThis will include planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and finalizing assigned projects according
\nto the defined budget, deadlines, and technical requirements.<\/p>\n
\nrequired stakeholders, developing detailed project plans, and coordinating the efforts of stakeholders
\nto deliver projects according to plan. Such stakeholders would include internal team members, thirdparty
\ncontractors, or consultants. The Project Manager will also define the project\u2019s objectives and
\noversee quality control throughout its life cycle.<\/p>\n
\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n3 \u2013 5 Years\u2019 Project Management experience within an IT \/ Technology environment.
\nMust be able to work with budgets ranging from R 350k to R 8 million or more.
\nExperience within a software development or Tech house or banking environment.
\nMust be a strong leader and able to manage teams from 2 to 8 resources.
\nMust be able to work with clients.
\nMust have experience with the full project life cycle and change control.
\nExperience working on Confluence, MS Office and Jira.
\nPrevious experience in IT Solution Project Implementation.
\nPrevious experience within an Agile environment.
\nGood understanding of Agile methodologies and accepted project methodologies such as Prince2, MS Solutions Framework and PMBOK.
\nPrevious experience within the Insurance industry will be a significant advantage.
