\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nIn order to be considered the following is required:
\nMinimum of 7 years hands on experience designing and developing Microservices
\nMinimum of 7 years relevant experience with API concepts and technologies
\n5-7 years of experience with system integration
\nExperience developing within an Agile methodology
\nExperienced in 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, Microservices Architectures and Service Oriented Architecture.
\nJira, Confluence
\nMicroservices with Springboot \/ Java 8+
\nDocker
\nKubernetes \u2013 specifically in building containerized apps and to deploy to production
\nUnderstanding of:
\nAPI gateways
\nOpenAPI (Swagger) specification
\nIntegration into backends via various protocols (SOAP, REST, YAML)
\nCI\/CD (Jenkins, pipelines)
\nThe following additional skills would be advantageous:
\nAWS ECS<\/p>\n
\nWork as part of the software engineering team that sets the standards for software coding, testing and quality.
\nCollaborates closely with the team\u2019s BAs and POs on the efficient transition of Behaviour Driven Development and Swaggers as part of the overall workflow
\nDefines the scope, timeline, and goals for the delivery of working software
\nTranscribes comprehensive documentation
\nProvides support with production cutovers and migrations as required
\nAnalyses and resolves technical and application problems
\nSupporting the Scrum Master
\nParticipate in and provide support in all Scrum related ceremonies
\nProvide clear reporting on the status of the scope, timeline and progress for the delivery of working software
\nAssist in setting up a robust out of hours support process
\nAssist in the prioritisation of bugs and defects
\nProviding guidance and mentoring
\nParticipate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code
\nProvide technical guidance to the teams\u2019 software engineers through coaching and mentorship
\nIdentify and encourage areas for growth, education and development within the team
