{"id":8001,"date":"2012-09-13T03:08:11","date_gmt":"2012-09-13T01:08:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=8001"},"modified":"2012-09-13T03:11:11","modified_gmt":"2012-09-13T01:11:11","slug":"dst-nrf-graduate-internship-programme-201314","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/dst-nrf-graduate-internship-programme-201314.html","title":{"rendered":"DST-NRF Graduate Internship Programme 2013\/14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Research Foundation (NRF) is responsible for the management of the DST-NRF Internship Programme in which unemployed Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) graduates and postgraduates are offered an opportunity to acquire practical work experience through mentoring and exposure to a research environment.<\/p>\n<p>This opportunity is also offered to those unemployed graduates and postgraduates who are interested in research management; research support and administration at public higher education institutions and research agencies through a partnership with the Southern African Research &amp; Innovation Management Association (SARIMA).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from candidates in the following areas of specialisation or disciplines and are willing to be placed in the provinces stipulated herein.<\/p>\n<p>Apply today using our online application.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who qualify are only those who hold a Bachelor\u2019s degree as a minimum qualification. Candidates with National Diploma need not apply. This opportunity is opened for South African citizens only who are 35 years or younger.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Placement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be placed in various institutions throughout the country and should thus apply for a position available in the province where they would like to be placed<\/p>\n<p>The NRF does not pay relocation costs to appointed candidates who need to relocate to another Province<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The internship programme is offered for a period of 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates will be required to sign an internship contract for the duration of the internship period.<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates will start their internship on 1 April 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/puffandpass.co.za\/\">Apply Online<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please also attach certified copies of qualifications, academic records and your South African Identity Document.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NB:\u00a0<\/strong>Applicants may only submit a maximum of three applications, each specifying one area of specialisation the candidate is applying for.<\/p>\n<p>No e-mailed or faxed applications will be considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enquiries: Monwabisi Mfihlo, tel.
